1983年,从龙泉陶瓷技术学校毕业的卢伟孙,到龙泉青瓷研究所设计工作室工作,在研究所的十多年,让他练就了青瓷创作的扎实基本功。1992年他研修于中国美术学院陶艺系,在正统的学院艺术教育的影响下,这位年轻的传统青瓷传承人得以吸收现代陶艺的创作理念。

After more than ten years in the Institute, he developed solid basic skills in Celadon creation. In 1992, he studied in the ceramic art department of China Academy of fine arts. Under the influence of the orthodox college art education, this young inheritor of traditional celadon was able to absorb the creative ideas of modern ceramic art.

1993年,卢伟孙开创哥、弟绞胎瓷的新工艺,采用辘轳扯拉坯这种祖辈传承的工艺成型,用两色和几色的瓷泥叠、贴、揉、拍、提、拉、修、刻等技术制作绞胎作品,将家乡美丽的山川河流与深厚的文化底蕴融入到“春的雨思”、“夏的记忆”、“秋的印记”、“冬的思绪”等主题作品中。1997年,在创办了属于自己的“子芦窑”后,许多知名的陶瓷艺术家纷纷前来与卢伟孙交流探讨。
